Playing Games

Good morning, scrapbook friends.  Sketches in Thyme has another great sketch guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing.

One lucky person who plays along this month will win a Kreaxions Circle Cutter.  This sketch is a great way to use up strips of paper, ribbon, or washi tape.  Here's my take on this week's sketch:

Hope you are having a great day!

Good morning!  Today I have a layout of my beautiful daughter. The layout is based on this week's gorgeous sketch challenge at Sketches in Thyme.  Be sure to enter and you could win a prize!  Click here for more info.

For my layout, I used lots of chipboard and a vellum quote from Quick Quotes that reads, "Allow yourself to trust joy, and embrace it. You will find you dance with everything." The photo was taken at an Imagine Dragons concert.

Here's the sketch for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme:

Happy scrapping!

It's sketch time!  Sketches In Thyme has a ton of gorgeous sketches EVERY month to inspire scrapbookers to get their memories into albums.  Here is my take on this week's sketch.

My kids are always goofing around and these two photos of them having fun with each other make me smile every time I see them.  The vellum quote down the middle from Quicks Quotes reads, "If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand."

Here's the original sketch, created by Sara Scraps.

One lucky scrapbooker who plays along with us will win this gift:

Hope you have a lovely, creative day!

December Daily Day 21 to 23

Happy New Year!  Now that it's the new year, I finally have some time to catch up with my December Daily Scrapbook album.  What a thick album this will be!  Day 21 is all about looking at Christmas lights in the neighborhood.

Day 22 shows our yearly tradition of having a picnic under the tree.  We talk about what we are thankful for and what we loved about the past year.

Day 23 is all about Christmas with the grandparents.  We celebrate the holiday with both my dad and his significant other, my sister and her family, and my husband's family.  It's awesome that we all get along so well and can enjoy it together.  It's always a good time.

Just for fun, I printed a few pictures in black and white.  There were so many good pictures that I had to add a couple extra pages for the day.

Hope your new year is off to a great start!
