My little princess

Good morning friends!  I am playing with a new favorite stamp set of mine, Sheena Douglass' A Little Bit Magical Honesty stamp set.  It has a all sorts of beautiful images including a princess, bird, flowers, flourishes and potions.  I used the princess and two rose stamps for today's layout.  I stamped the roses onto patterned paper, cut them out, and them glued them down onto my layout.

The picture is of Lara playing dress up in her Cinderella dress.  She has a very girly, princess-themed room, as you can see in the picture.

The vellum quote says, "Spending a day with a child is like digging for gold.  You never know when or where you will find treasure...but the adventures you encounter along the way are far more precious than the gold. - Patsy Gaut".

To color the princess, I stamped the image with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink on Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored her with the following Spectrum Noir alcohol markers:

Dress:  IB1, IB2, IB3
Skin:  EB1, EB2
Hair : IG3, IG5, IG7, IG9
Headdress: IB3, CG4

A princess's dress should always have some glitter on it, so I also added Diamond Stickles to it.

Crafter's Companion has a sale going on right now with the A Little Bit Magical set.

Lara liked her layout so much, she asked if she could hang it in her room :)

Hope you have a fairytale kind of day!
