A gift for my husband's grandmother - playing with sepia hues
Alright, here is my first layout I did today. I saw that Frosted Designs had a challenge for using a picture sized bigger than you normally scrap with. I remembered a half done page I had from my Quick Quotes convention. I normally only scrap with 4x6 photos, and 5x7 on occasion so the layout was perfect. My photo ended up being about 6 1/2 by 8. The paper and most of the flowers are from Quick Quotes, though the small shiny flowers and leaves are from Prima. The ribbon flowers along the bottom are from BoBunny. When I made it I immediately wanted to keep it. But then I thought with Christmas coming up it would make a great gift for my husband's grandma. She just loves Lara to pieces and spoiled her rotten. She'd love this more than I would. So I am going to buy a brown 12 x 12 shadowbox and frame it for her. Anyone know where I might find one?

Your layout is stunning Denise, I love all the flowers and of course the sweet pic of Lara. Your Grandma in law will be so happy getting this sweet gift.
What a beautiful layout! Lara is so cute and those flowers look store-bought and expensive! you're a pretty good flower-maker.
I'm sure I've seen brown shadow boxes at Joann's, but it has to be a bigger store. I'm not sure if Michaels has brown, they might have unfinished ones that you can paint.
